Pennsylvania Birth Certificate Apostille

Do you need to apostille a birth certificate from Pennsylvania?  We can apostille documents from all 67 Counties in Pennsylvania including the Counties of Philadelphia, Allegheny, Montgomery, Bucks, and Delaware.  Pennsylvania Counties Apostille

A birth certificate from Pennsylvania only requires the state apostille.  You will need to mail in the original County Clerk issued certificate or a new certified copy with our Pennsylvania Apostille Order Forms.  Beware of websites that ask you to upload your documents.  Birth certificates from Pennsylvania are not notarized.  A birth certificate from Pennsylvania can only obtain the apostille through the state of Pennsylvania.

New Jersey Birth Certificate Apostille

Maryland County and State Apostille

Do you need to apostille your notarized documents through the state of Maryland?  The most common document we apostille is the Power of Attorney.

A notarized document must be taken to the Clerk of the Circuit Court for certification, in the county where the notary was commissioned before the document can receive the apostille through the Maryland Secretary of State’s office (two steps).  Vital record documents (Example: Birth, death, marriage, etc…) only requires the state apostille.

Documents originating from the State of Maryland are processed directly from the Maryland Secretary of State’s office. San Francisco Apostille

Do you need San Francisco Apostille Services?

Documents originating from San Francisco can be processed through our San Francisco Apostille office.  Common documents we can apostille are birth, marriage, divorce, power of attorney, notarized documents, diploma, transcripts, single status, background check, and more!

The first step is to contact our office so we can discuss your documents and the country requesting them.  For example, if you need to apostille your San Francisco birth certificate, we will want to know when your birth certificate was issued and if it was obtained from the County Clerk’s office.  Marriage certificates issued from San Francisco only require the state apostille.

In certain situations, you may need to obtain a new certified copy of your documents from the County Clerk’s office or State Registrar.  Court documents (Example: Divorce Decree) from San Francisco must be a certified copy signed and stamped by the Deputy Clerk of the Court.  Documents that require your signature (Example: Power of Attorney) must be signed and notarized before you mail them to our office.  Please call us before you mail in your documents for the most up-to-date processing time and availability.

The second step is to mail in your documents with our San Francisco Apostille Order Forms for processing.  Documents from San Francisco can only be apostilled in the state of California.  Our office in California is located in San Francisco.  Beware of websites that ask you to upload your documents to a company located in New York or another state.  Only original documents originating from California can be apostilled through California Secretary of State’s office.

US Federal Apostille

Do you need to apostille documents originating from the U.S. Federal Government?

Documents originating from the U.S. Federal Government can only be apostilled through the U.S. Department of State in Washington D.C.  Documents issued by the U.S. Federal Government are not notarized nor are they processed through the Secretary of State offices.

Documents signed and notarized at a U.S. Embassy or U.S. Consulate can only be apostilled through the U.S. Department of state in Washington, D.C.
